Mikael Samuelsson scored at 5:14 of overtime to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final Tuesday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Detroit won the game as -200 favorites, and the five goals went UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).
Brian Rafalski and Dan Cleary scored in regulation for the Red Wings. Chris Osgood stopped 37 shots in the loss.
Jonathan Toews scored a pair of markers for the Blackhawks. Nikolai Khabibulin made 35 saves in a losing effort.
