Red Sox silence high-flying Jays  THURSDAY MAY 21, 2009

The Boston Red Sox were out hit, but managed to come away with a 5-1 victory and a sweep of the three-game series at Fenway Park against the Toronto Blue Jays Thursday night.

Boston won the game as -185 favorites, but the six runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (10.5).

Jason Bay cracked a two-run homer to propel the Red Sox. Jon Lester tossed 6 1-3 innings for the win, allowing eight hits and one run.

Aaron Hill drove in the only Blue Jays run, while Robert Ray gave up six runs over 4 1-3 innings in the loss.
