Giants stop Mariners  SATURDAY MAY 23, 2009 The San Francisco Giants scored all their runs in the eighth inning Saturday, as they defeated the Seattle Mariners 5-1 at Safeco Field. San Francisco won the game as -130 favorites, while the six runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8). Juan Uribe went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in leading the Giants. Matt Cain went the distance on the hill for the Giants, allowing 10 hits and one run. Adrian Beltre drove in the only run for the Mariners. Mark Lowe gave up five runs in one inning and was saddled with the loss.
